Sure I didn’t have as many responsibilities back then, but I honestly can’t wait for the responsibilities I’ll have later in life (ie. living on my own, my career, being a wife and mama). There’s just so much to look forward to and I can’t help but be anxious and excited. Throughout childhood I always imagined myself and my life as I become an adult and I was wrong about everything. It’s nothing like I had anticipated before; it’s a million times better. I have an unsteady path but a path, nonetheless, and that’s encouraging to me. Even if my path takes unexpected turns and detours, I’ll be satisfied as long as I reach the end. Bring it on, future!
